Same Light, Own Darkness is the most reflective record on the album. It's the soundtrack to a book, The Melanin Paradigm, and it carries the weight of that: identity, consciousness, and what it means to share a light while carrying a darkness that's entirely your own.

The title says it plainly. We're all lit by the same sun. Same light, same source, same spark of being alive on the same rock spinning through the same dark. And yet every single person walks around with a private night no one else can fully see into, their own history, their own grief, their own questions they've never said out loud.

The same light falls on all of us. The darkness we each carry is ours alone.
